Passport Approved has spent the last 17 years as being the first point of radio contact in N. Passport Approved is the creation of British-born/Los Angeles-based DJ Sat Bisla, who was previously a DJ at KCRW and Indie 103.1FM in Los Angeles. Bisla also worked at a number of other music-intensive radio stations in Central California, including KKDJ "The Edge" Fresno, where he hosted/programmed a weekly import show and was also the station's Music Director.

Passport Approved has partnered with tastemaker DJs and radio stations from around the world, including Kiwi FM New Zealand, Radio X (UK), TokyoFM, InterFM (Japan) and Deutschland's FluxFM. Passport Approved has also featured weekly exchanges with Australia’s Triple M Radio, John Kennedy from Radio X London, England and also highly-influential former BBC Radio 1 (UK) DJ Zane Lowe now head of Apple Music 1.
